Tigray has paid enormously and dearly. In addition to the hundreds of thousands of lost lives, our people have also lost their limbs (arms or legs or both). Limbs could have been lost while fighting as a member of TDF, by artillery shelling on civilians, by aerial bombardment (drone or fighter jets), due to illness (diabetes and others) and due to curable/treatable infections, during the two years war and blockade.
The Need
- Supply of Prosthetic limbs
- Capacity building of local organization in terms of training and supply of different resources and equipments to give them the ability modify and maintain the artificial limbs
- Job creation for wounded heros
Our Focus
- SIMUR Technologies is striving to support combatants and non-combatants who have lost their limbs during the two years genocidal war by providing prosthetic (artificial) limbs so as to minimize their disability and make them part of the working force dearly needed for the reconstruction of Tigray.
